Golden State Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins has been practicing with the Warriors' G-League affiliate lately as he continues to rehab his Achilles injury. The All-Star center suffered the injury last season in January while playing for the New Orleans Pelicans.

DeMarcus Cousins hasn't endured a setback of any kind, but Santa Cruz Warriors head coach Aaron Miles says Boogie is “probably not moving as well as he wants to right now,” via Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says there is still no timetable for Cousins, but it appears he isn't close to making his season debut.

“That’s why we still don’t have a timetable,” Kerr said, via the Chronicle. “He needs to feel confident with the Achilles, his conditioning, his rhythm, his timing and everything else. We’re not going to rush him back. We’re going to help him through that process. When it happens, it happens.

“There’s a lot of obstacles coming back from a serious injury. That is a difficult task, but doing so in a new environment and new team makes it very difficult.”

Many players say that an Achilles injury is the toughest ailment to come back from. Luckily for DeMarcus Cousins, he's on a team which doesn't need his services at the moment, thus allowing him to take his time with the recovery.
