This would not be a huge surprise because Kevin Durant is known for his extensive use of Instagram, and there is tension between KD and Green after a recent altercation between the two. That being said, this screenshot is unverified at this time.
A moderator for r/NBA, LieutenantKumar, commented on the post and stated that the authenticity of the screenshot is still unverified.
“To the people upset about this being removed – as it stands there is no proof this screenshot is real. All the subsequent screenshots that were posted directly as i.reddit posts were autoremoved due to subreddit settings.
“We're going to leave this up for the time being but note that there is a fair chance this is fake. But we will be locking it until verified.”
It's weird that basketball fans have become so consumed with the social media habits and locker room gossip, but this type of interest in the league is another reason why the NBA is exploding in popularity.
The Warriors are on top of the mountain and fans are ready to see them fall. That's why fans are so interested in the drama between Green and KD. It could be a signal that the end of Golden State's dynasty is near.
The screenshot is unverified, but many NBA fans are hoping this is true. That being said, Kevin Durant knows how Instagram works, and it's unlikely that he would like a comment like this on purpose. He knows it would ramp up the scrutiny on their relationship even more.
