Call Draymond Green impressed with Ben Simmons' latest performance for the Philadelphia 76ers. In Game 3 of their second-round series against the Atlanta Hawks, Simmons just showed the Golden State Warriors star and everyone else who watched how dominant and impactful he can be.

The Sixers, behind Simmons, Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris, took down the Hawks 127-111. The Aussie playmaker finished with 18 points, four rebounds and seven assists for a positive plus-minus rating of 14–the third-highest on the team behind Furkan Korkmaz and Joel Embiid.

What stood out the most, however, was Simmons' aggressiveness as he attacked the rim relentlessly and showed no hesitation or fear in every action–even despite the threat of being hacked by his opponents to exploit his poor free-throw shooting. He made four of his eight attempts from the charity stripe, but his performance on other areas more than made up for it.

After watching such performance, Green couldn't help but be amazed by Simmons. For what it's worth, the Warriors forward is also a Defensive Player of the Year finalist, so he knows how impressive it is for Simmons to display his offensive chops.

Ben Simmons stepping up from his role is exactly what the Sixers need as they try to finish the Hawks quickly and secure their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals. Joel Embiid has been consistently dominant for Philly, but for them to reach their full potential, they will need the 24-year-old to become that true second star.

As for Draymond Green, with the Warriors out of the 2021 playoffs, he will certainly be glued to his TV analyzing games and all the standout players this postseason.
