Draymond Green has been known to post unflattering numbers throughout his career. He has been repeatedly mocked for his so-called quadruple-singles. But given the Golden State Warriors' success whenever he's on the floor, Green's positive impact is undeniable.

This is what former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins echoed prior to the Warriors' game against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday. He took to Twitter to tip his hat to Green and silence all the slander against the five-time NBA All-Defensive Team member.

Based on the tweet, the 30-year-old Green has only been averaging 4.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game before facing the Pacers. People would expect more from a player in Green's caliber, but looking at how the Warriors have won four of their last six games with him back in the starting unit, it's clear Green is more than just gaudy numbers.

Aside from his offensive contribution, the former Michigan State standout has been a huge link on defense with 1.3 steals per outing.

Green's numbers aren't staggering compared to other forwards but the three-time NBA champion and three-time All-Star has always been about doing the dirty work and the intangibles to help his team win. Recently, he defended himself from critics who chide him for not producing enough numbers or for being an overrated player.

“Most people will never learn the game of basketball. They think they know, but yet don’t have a clue. So, it is what it is.”

The Warriors are back to their winning ways and them finding their groove upon Draymond Green's return isn't a coincidence.
