Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green appreciates all of the people who want to see him and the team fail because it gives him more energy and motivation.

After the incident which took place between Draymond Green and Kevin Durant at Staples Center earlier in the season, some around the league thought that was the beginning of the end of the Warriors' dynasty.

Since then, though, Green and KD have been back on good terms and Golden State once again looks unstoppable. Green admits that he sometimes needs to hear people out the outside say he and the team are done because it makes him and his teammates better.

“It’s incredible,” Green told Marcus Thompson of The Atheltic. “I be needing that sometimes, for people to say, ‘He’s done. The run is over.’ That’s amazing. I appreciate those people. Those people are the reason I am where I am today. Keep talking that sh*t. They just make me better.

“If they were smart they’d just shut the hell up. It’s so many people that want to see you fail. Stay true to that. Want to see me fail. But they’ve go to know their personnel. You can’t talk sh*t about a motherfu**a that feed off that. If you know your personnel, you’d stay silent, pray on the downfall.”

Green has never been one to mince words and he's clearly not going to stop now. Golden State is 32-14 on the year, first place in the Western Conference standings.

The 28-year-old Green is averaging 7.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists on the season.
