Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is never one to turn away from controversy. Right now, the Dubs talisman is involved in a very contentious and polarizing issue involving broadcaster Chris Russo, who himself told Green that he should just “shut up and play” during a recent episode of First Take on ESPN.

Green has already pulled the race card on Russo which has only made the issue even more intense. The Warriors star doubled down on his claim by sharing a tweet that narrates an incident wherein Russo once used the N-word:

In a couple of succeeding tweets, however, the Warriors veteran appeared to have dialed it back a bit by speaking out on “cancel culture” and how he doesn't believe in the same:

“Also, I don’t believe in cancel culture. This is not a cancel attempt. Just stand on your words. ACCOUNTABILITY

Yours truly, THE NEW MEDIA,” Green wrote in his tweet.

Green has made it abundantly clear that he is not trying to “cancel” Chris Russo with his recent tirade. However, the Warriors stud still wants the broadcaster to be accountable for his previous statements. Draymond clearly believes that Russo was being racist with his rant and all the former Defensive Player of the Year wants is for Russo to speak out and stand up for what he truly believes in.
