Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green challenged star small forward Kevin Durant about Durant's impending free agency, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Green had a costly turnover at the end of regulation Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Durant was clapping at Green to give him the ball, but the rugged defender ignored him and dribbled the ball into traffic, resulting in a turnover.

Durant's 2019 free agency is going to be a talking point all year. The nine-time All-Star re-signed with the Warriors on a two-year, $61.5 million max contract, with the second year of the deal being a player-option.
Called a one-plus-one deal, Durant says his new contract leaves his financial and team options open. He will make $30 million this season and $31.5 million for the option year in 2019 if he picks it up. If he doesn’t pick it up, Durant will become an unrestricted free agent.
Many around the league believe Durant could leave the Warriors, especially if Golden State wins another ring this season. Since joining the Warriors, Durant has won two-straight Finals MVPs.
Teammates get into heated exchanges all the time. It's part of sports. However, Green bringing up Durant's free agency is something to monitor in terms of their relationship moving forward.
