The plot thickens. After reports emerged regarding an altercation between Draymond Green and Tristan Thompson following the ESPYs, everyone began to wonder what actually happened. Rumors are swirling that Thompson punched Green, but what exactly happened is still unclear.

Draymond Green took to Instagram to set the record straight—sort of.

Draymond calls the rumors and reports “inaccurate” but he doesn't clarify any of the details about the night in question. This isn't going to stop anyone from speculating about what actually happened. Draymond also says that Cleveland should cancel the parade they're having in celebration of the alegged punch.

But in classic Draymond fashion, he quickly takes back that comment and encourages Clevelanders to have the parade anyway.

Draymond writes:

“Nah keep the parade that city won't have any for a while…I forgot Bron left”

Now that's a low blow, even for Draymond.

Draymond Green is a fascinating player. So many NBA fans pine for the days where players would routinely talk trash, play physical, get chippy on the court, and hold grudges. But now that Draymond exemplifies those exact qualities, everyone seems to hate him.

What do you want, NBA fans? Do you want a throwback player who plays with an edge and keeps that edge off the court? Maybe the majority of fans just need that player so they can hate him.

While we don't know exactly what transpired between Green and Thompson, this story won't be going away anytime soon.
