Draymond Green was mic'd up during the Golden State Warriors' Game 1 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. Unsurprisingly, there were more than a few intriguing soundbites from the former Defensive Player of the Year. One that stood out the most, however, was his strong message to Dubs superstar Stephen Curry after the greatest shooter of all time uncharacteristically missed a free throw.

Green was quick to talk up his Warriors teammate after Steph's missed attempt from the line:

“Get your head out of it,” Green told Steph (h/t Warriors on NBCS on Twitter).

Stephen Curry did not look like himself from the line, going just 4-of-7 from the charity stripe in Game 1. He's shooting 92.3 percent from the line this season, so there is a clear discrepancy here.

For his part, Draymond Green made sure to remind Curry that this isn't going to be an issue. He knows what Steph is capable of, so he just wanted to tell his teammate that he should just forget about the missed free throws.

It didn't matter much in the end, with the Warriors blowing out Luka Doncic and the Mavs by 25 points. The Dubs have drawn first blood here but needless to say, this series is just getting started.
