The rivalry of the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers is probably one of the most iconic rivalries not just in basketball but in all of sports in the present.

The two teams faced in the NBA Finals for three consecutive years — a feat that even the Celtics-Lakers rivalry back in the day did not accomplish.

The Warriors won two of these NBA Finals matchups — the first and third ones.

In their first Finals together, the Warriors beat the Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love-less Cavaliers. In their third Finals, the Warriors beat the Cavaliers fair and square with Kevin Durant.

The two teams' second Finals appearances together are the most controversial, because of a Draymond Green suspension that gave the Cavaliers the momentum to go on and win the championship.

It's easy to believe that Green has regretted this part of his life. But according to Mark Medina of the Bay Area News Group, Green actually has a different outlook. Green said:

“If I did play Game 5, everything is different. I'll always hold that view. But what I don't hold is the regret. I don't regret it at all . . . Because I don't regret anything. I don't live my life with regret. [Stuff] happens. You move on from it. I would never let anybody just stand over the top of me. If the same thing happened again, I'd do the same thing.”

This Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Warriors and Cavaliers are going to face each other again in what many anticipate as an intense Finals rematch.

But whatever the future holds, we are sure that Green will take it upfront.
