According to Golden State Warriors head coach, veteran power forward Draymond Green will return to the team's lineup on Wednesday against the surging Milwaukee Bucks. Green has been just one of the many Warriors players to fall victim to the injury bug this season as the seasoned big man has been battling an ankle injury.

The Warriors, still without the services of Green, will first take on the Sacramento Kings on Monday evening before hosting the aforementioned Bucks on Wednesday evening at the Chase Center.

The soon-to-be 30-yard-old Green has notably spent his entire NBA playing career as a member of the heralded Warriors. Originally selected by Golden State in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft out of Michigan State, Green was first a collegiate standout for the Spartans before quickly become a legitimate force atop the professional level as well.

The Warriors have unfortunately encountered a bit of a lost season after what once seemed like endless years of success. However, Green is once again stringing together quite the well-rounded effort this time around. As it stands today, Green has appeared in 27 games for the Warriors in 2019-20 while starting each contest. He is currently averaging an even 9.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.7 blocks across 29 minutes per game.

It is also worth noting that the Warriors are without the likes of point guard and two-time league MVP Stephen Curry, shooting guard Klay Thompson and superstar forward Kevin Durant. With Curry and Thompson battling significant injuries of their own, Durant infamously jumped ship in favor of the Brooklyn Nets this past offseason.
