Warriors’ Draymond Green expects series vs. Blazers to ‘get tougher and tougher’
In his postgame presser, Green talked a bit about his teammates — on how they are always ready when head coach Steve Kerr calls them up to play. He added that contrary to popular belief, their series against Damian Lillard and crew will be tougher and tougher, saying they have to be prepared despite dominating Game 1.
"The series is going to get tougher and tougher." 👀

In their 116-94 victory in Game 1, Green had an all-around game for the Warriors He chipped in 12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and two steals. Along the way, he helped lock down the Blazers to just 36.1 percent shooting from the field and 25 percent from downtown.
Green did his usual task of being the point-forward and vocal leader of the team. Not only did he orchestrate the team’s offensive and defensive schemes, but he also motivated his teammates to keep the pressure on.
It’s certainly a great mindset by Green not to underestimate their foes. Perhaps their 73-win season a few years ago — m]which did not end with a championship — brought them more lessons than disappointments. Green doesn’t want to go through that experience ever again.
