Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green had high praise for teammate Stephen Curry following their 120-117 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 2017 Defensive Player of the Year spoke to reporters after the game and said Curry's overall impact on the game of basketball doesn't get much recognition, which is what makes him underrated in his books.

Green has a very good point here. Without a doubt, Curry has changed the way the game is played today. Kids nowadays try to mimic Curry's style of play. In fact, Curry is largely responsible for ushering in this new era of the 3-point revolution and pace-and-space basketball in the NBA.

Defenses adjust to the way Curry plays as they have to worry about him as soon as he crosses the half-court line. Just his mere presence on the court changes the entire Warriors dynamic.

As Green alluded to, when the All-NBA guard catches fire and starts making a barrage of shots, teams usually have a hard time recovering from his onslaught. And he's right. A Curry triple just seems to mean a lot more, and opposing teams usually get deflated when he starts dropping shot after shot.

The Sixers certainly felt that Saturday as Stephen Curry was responsible for shutting the door on them. The two-time MVP poured in 11 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter after getting saddled with foul trouble throughout the contest. Nine of those 11 points came within the final four minutes as he helped the Warriors seal the road win over the Joel Embiid-less Sixers.
