The Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green has been $50,000 regarding his recent comments on Devin Booker.

Green has never been one to hold his tongue, and he has had quite a bit to say as a guest commentator on TNT's “Inside the NBA.” The former Defensive Player of the Year has addressed his Twitter beef with Charles Barkley and, more recently, suggested Booker should find a way to get out of Phoenix.

Green added playing with the Suns is “not good” for Booker's career. The fine might not come as a surprise to Green, considering he acknowledged he might have been tampering when pressed by Ernie Johnson.

In spite of Green's comments, the Suns have been thriving in Orlando. The Suns improved to 5-0 in the “bubble” after defeating the Miami Heat on Saturday, and are currently just a half-game back of the Portland Trail Blazers for the No. 9 seed in the Western Conference.

Booker has been especially prolific during the restart. The former Kentucky product scored 35 points on 15-of-26 shooting from the field on Saturday, and is currently averaging 30.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.3 rebounds in four “bubble” games. Booker also has a net rating of +13, to go along with a true shooting mark above 63 percent, per Basketball Reference.

The star combo guard has been the subject of trade talk in recent months, with Marc Berman of the New York Post reporting Booker is the “the player to watch out for most” should the Knicks push for a star.

But while Green and others might want to see Booker in another situation, the 23-year-old still has four more years left on his contract.

The Suns are attempting to build something, with Booker and Deandre Ayton as foundational pieces. It seems unlikely they would trade Booker barring an absurd return package.
