Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green may no longer be teammates with Kevin Durant in the NBA, but he won't let the disrespect to the Team USA leader go unnoticed–especially after they won the Olympic gold in Tokyo.

Before Team USA headed to the Olympics, there were a lot of fears they wouldn't win the gold in the summer games. After all, they lost twice in their pre-Olympic exhibitions against Nigeria and Australia. The players also struggled adjusting to the FIBA officiating and the lack of chemistry was evident.

With that said, a lot of finger-pointing emerged even before the actual games started. Some questioned Durant's leadership and how the ex-Warriors star and current Brooklyn Nets forward is not capable of leading his own team.

Of course, after Durant led Team USA to the victory over France in the gold medal game, Green just had to remind the haters what they said, The Warriors' defensive anchor specifically quote-tweeted a user who said KD is only “great when the deck is stacked.”

Indeed, Kevin Durant showed everyone what he is capable of after banking 29 points to propel Team USA to an 87-82 victory against the Frenchmen. He was virtually unstoppable all game long, and while France played great defense, KD's ability to score in a multitude of ways doomed them.

And if there were still questions on his capabilities as a leader and basketball player, he basically let his game do the talking.

For what it's worth, after the contest, the former Warriors star and two-time Finals MVP also sent a message to his doubters after their big win.

“Everybody who said we were going to take the L. … They had some power rankings out. They had us fourth behind Slovenia. Come on, man, Talking about they’re catching up to us, like, are you serious? This skill is unmatched, you dig?” Durant proclaimed during an Instagram Live session.
