Draymond Green put up heroic numbers in the Golden State Warriors' win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday. And, Green picked the perfect evening to grab crazy numbers as he was put in the spotlight for the NBA's #MarvelArenaOfHeroes telecast.

The three-time champion was named “Hero of the Game,” which had his son gleaming with pride. The 31-year-old Green told reporters that he got an adorable text message from his son right after his monster game which would make any villain smile (via Wes Goldberg of Mercury News).

Green definitely put on his cape and balled out against the Pelicans. The former Defensive Player of the Year recorded his 29th career triple-double with an impressive line of 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists. That also put Green as the first champion in Marvel's #ArenaOfHeroes (via SportsCenter).

What's even more impressive is that, according to StatMuse, the Warriors are 28-1 in all of Green's triple-double performances, by far the best in NBA history in those terms. The huge win also helped the Warriors hold on to the eighth spot in the tight Western Conference.

Green did enjoy battling it out with another superhero in two-time MVP Stephen Curry. Curry was once again red-hot and erupted for 41 points on eight three-pointers as he continues his stellar campaign as the league's best scorer this season.

Curry's incredible form and Green's leadership have been recipes for success for the Warriors the past few seasons, and both are hoping they can lead their squad into another historic run. If not, they might hear it from Draymond Green's son.
