The Golden State Warriors have lost a number of key guys to free agency already. One of them is Juan Toscano-Anderson, who recently decided to sign with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Warriors star Draymond Green recently spoke out on JTA's decision to take his talents to Hollywood and how he sees this as a huge win for the Lakers. Speaking on a recent episode of The Draymond Green Show, the outspoken Dubs talisman had nothing but praise for his now-former teammate:

“My brother Juan Toscano-Anderson headed to the Los Angeles Lakers,” Green said (h/t Taylor Wirth of NBC Sports). “I think that is an incredible move by him, I think that's an incredible move by his agent and here's why. Number one, I think the Lakers need those types of guys, the Juan-type of guys that will get in, get it out the mud and do all the dirty work. I think that's big for them from that standpoint.”

According to Green, this isn't all about basketball as well for the Lakers. The Warriors veteran pointed out that Toscano-Anderson's heritage could also be something that both he and the Lakers can capitalize on:

“On the flipside, Juan as a Mexican-American, as we all know there is a huge Mexican population in Los Angeles, so how can he then capitalize on that front?” Green continued. “Juan has done plenty of things in Mexico to help the community, how can he continue to bridge that gap with the Mexican fanbase and the Mexican community in Los Angeles?”

After spending the first three seasons of his career with the Warriors, Juan Toscano-Anderson decided to sign with the Lakers this summer on a veteran's minimum contract. The 29-year-old holds career averages of 4.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists.
