Say what you want about Draymond Green, but the man stays consistent to his brand. The Golden State Warriors forward was his ever-vocal self in the latest episode of his podcast.

There he criticized media members, both players and non-players alike. The Warriors star particularly singled out Skip Bayless and how he disparages LeBron James to a fault, spouting hot takes that don't further a healthy discussion of the game of basketball.

Then he directed his ire at former player turned analyst Kendrick Perkins, who he claims is going down the same path as guys like Skip Bayless as part of the “old” media:

“Kendrick Perkins. You act like this clown and it's baffling to me,” said the Warriors star. “He could never be you. You know why he could never be you? Cause he never done it. You go up there acting like him. You don't have to do that, buddy. You played. You did it. Go talk about it. Or can you not? I hope that you can. With all these hot takes you make, you should be able to.

You go from being an enforcer to coon. How does that happen? At least you act like an enforcer, I didn't really ever take you for one.”

Kendrick Perkins didn't take long to respond to Draymond Green. He posted a Twitter video of his own, blasting the Warriors star for interfering with another man's media career while also claiming he is all “bark”:

“Hey Draymond, you good? The f–k wrong with you? Didn't you just win your fourth championship, what the f–k you worrying about me for? … Forget the old media. Forget the new media. I'm going to stand by the old law. All that disrespect of calling somebody a coon. Man, you got me f–ked up. … We all know you all bark and no bite.”

The war on the basketball court is over. But it appears as though the clashes between old media and new media will continue to wage on.
