Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green hurt his back against the Phoenix Suns, the same night star point guard Stephen Curry broke his left hand.

With Curry set to miss a big chunk of games, some think Green is better off resting until he's 100 percent since Golden State likely won't be competitive in the rugged Western Conference sans Curry.

The Warriors' do-it-all swingman, though, has no plans to rest:

The Warriors are 1-3 on the season. They host the San Antonio Spurs on Friday. The Spurs are coming off their first loss of the season. San Antonio fell to Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday at Staples Center.

Green, the heart and soul of the Warriors, is averaging 10.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists through four games. The three-time All-Star is shooting 45.7 percent from the field, 22.2 percent from beyond the arc and 70.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Warriors have lost in blowout fashion to the Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Suns. Their lone win of the season was against the New Orleans Pelicans in The Big Easy.

Golden State was going to have a hard time making the playoffs this season with a healthy Curry since Kevin Durant is gone and Klay Thompson is out with an ACL injury. Now that Curry is out for the foreseeable future, it's hard to see the Warriors even competing for the 8th seed.
