San Francisco, CA – Thursday night, the Golden State Warriors hosted their first home game of the season. They faced the Los Angeles Clippers; a team missing Kwahi Leonard. Stephen Curry started the game on fire and never cooled off. He scored 45 points and closed the game with two threes that helped secure a victor. The performance got an interesting response from teammate Draymond Green.

“I'm always impressed. It is a very impressive thing that he is doing, but I'm not surprised,” Warriors star Draymond Green told ClutchPoints. “Especially with Steph coming off a game like he did on Tuesday, you have to know that he is coming out firing. He doesn’t have too many off-shooting nights, so definitely impressed but not surprised at all.”

Thursday's game marked the 50th time Curry scored 40 points or more. He also grabbed 10 rebounds for the second game in a row, making this his third 40-point/10 rebound game of his career. In the first quarter, Curry tied his career-high for first-quarter points with 25. He went a perfect 9-of-9 from the field and 5-of-5 from deep.

This game couldn't have gone any better for Warriors fans. It was opening night at the Chase Center, and their superstar put on a show. This game was an early glimpse of what's to come this season in front of the home crowd. It will be raining threes all season, and Curry will receive MVP chants the entire season.

Although it won't ever come as a surprise, these games by Stephen Curry will always amaze those watching. Just like Draymond Green, who has witnessed Stephen Curry do this over and over again.
