It looks like Golden State Warriors fans have to wait for a little bit more to see Draymond Green actually play alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

As Steve Kerr noted following their loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday, it is “far-fetched” to see Green suit up in their upcoming back-to-back against the Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls on Thursday and Friday, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic. Kerr did note that Dray is progressing nicely in his recovery from calf injury, but he is just not ready yet to get into action.

The game against the Grizzlies marks the second straight game Draymond Green missed due to his calf issue. He did appear in their previous game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it was only ceremonial in nature to celebrate the return of Klay Thompson from his two-year recovery from injuries.

For what it's worth, Steve Kerr claimed earlier that there's a possibility Green returns in their four-game road trip–which started in Memphis. However, by the looks of it, his best chance to return comes against the Minnesota Timberwolves, whom they will face on Sunday at Target Center.

There is really no significant reason for the Warriors to rush Green back. While they lost to the Grizzlies and dropped 30-10 in the standings, they still have a lot of breathing room in the playoff race. For now, they can focus on getting Thompson back into rhythm.
