It didn't take long for Kevin Durant's Twitter and Instagram's secondary accounts to come into question, now part of a Scooby-Doo-like mystery investigation, which started by asking his teammate Draymond Green and L.A. Clippers center DeAndre Jordan about its veracity.

TMZ Sports caught up with them outside of the L.A. nightclub scene and asked them about it, with Jordan quickly pointing to Green, who could do nothing but laugh nonstop as he made his way to the car.

Durant has taken petty to a whole other level and he might be paying the consequences of that in the near future, creating yet another saga for the media to latch on to prior to the start of the regular season, now less than a month away from taking place.

Somehow the glory of an NBA Finals MVP award and a first championship seem like far away memories after a summer of pettiness ranging from social media clapbacks to sneakers dedicated to his haters.

The easy-money sniper has seemingly done more to instigate criticism over the summer than prove those people wrong, after all — actions speak louder than words.
