Draymond Green doesn't have many friends on the basketball court, and he reiterated that going into the NBA Finals on Media Day.

The Golden State Warriors forward in Green was asked about his relationship with Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and Green admitted there was one, but right now it's all about winning a title according to Melissa Rohlin of the Bay Area News Group.

“He's trying to win a championship. I'm trying to win a championship..There's mutual respect there, but friendships, businesses, none of that matters when you're trying to win a championship.”

James and Green off the court are friends and have worked together as business partners in the past. Green has also tried to model his off the court approach the same way that James does.

“I think when you look around a lot of things that LeBron has done, he’s done it the right way,” Green told cleveland.com in March 2017. “He’s done a great job, whether it’s with a great team around him or whether it’s the way he’s taking care of his body and going the extra mile with that or the brands he’s aligned himself with. I think a lot of times in the game of basketball with our competitive nature you look at things and say, ‘Man I have to do something different.’ If it’s working why not copy the model?”

When both of these guys step on the court on Thursday night, it's not going to be about how they will be interacting in a few weeks during the offseason. James and Green both have one thing on their mind: winning a title. They will both do anything to make that happen, even if that means trying to get under their friend's skin to get a bit of an advantage.

It will be a matchup to watch during the Finals, but don't be surprised to see some jawing between these two.
