The Golden State Warriors have found another capable playmaker this season in veteran forward Draymond Green. The Michigan State alum has recorded 10+ assists in each of his last five games as the starting center of the team. He now joins Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic as the only players to achieve the feat, via NBA Stats.

The three-time All-Star was forced to slot in at the five position for the Warriors due to the injuries dealt to their big men. Rookie James Wiseman is currently dealing with a left wrist sprain while Kevon Looney is nursing a sprain in his left ankle. Meanwhile, Marquesse Chriss has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a broken right leg during the first week of their campaign.

Green's latest performance against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night saw him register eight points, six rebounds, and 11 assists in 36 minutes of action. Lead guard Stephen Curry exploded once again with 40 points on 10-of-19 shooting from beyond the arc along with eight rebounds and five assists for the Warriors.

The Dubs snagged a 111-105 victory at the expense of the Magic en route to a 14-12 record for the eighth spot in the Western Conference. Green is currently averaging norms of 5.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists in 22 appearances for the Warriors this season.

With his teammates' extended absences, Draymond Green is expected to make plays for the Warriors despite suiting up in the center position. The Warriors will look to vie for their third consecutive victory when they host the Brooklyn Nets on Feb. 13.
