Draymond Green recently teased his sharpshooting teammate Stephen Curry after seeing a three-pointer from way downtown in a game in the NCAA Tournament.

In a tweet, Draymond Green wrote:

The video featured a player from Rhode Island hitting a three-pointer from the logo, a feat that Curry does on the regular. Curry responded jokingly, if not sarcastically:

Stephen Curry, without a doubt, is the best shooter that the NBA has ever seen. For over the past several years, he has steadily built a legacy as one of the greats alongside Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, just to name a few. On top of his super shooting, he has also won two championships and if he remains healthy, he might soon be the leader in three-point field goals made.

What's amazing is not just his dead-on precision from the arc. He also shoots at a very high-volume: 9.9 three-point attempts per game this season. He makes 4.2 of them every night. For the season, he shoots at an impressive 42.4 percent from downtown. For his career, he shoots 43.6 percent.

But despite his superhuman-like efforts, critics have accused him of ruining the game, thus his sarcastic reply. It is because kids have emulated Curry, opting to shoot from 30 to 35 feet instead of driving to the lane for a higher percentage. Some of these kids make the shots. However, most of them miss badly.

To blame Curry for ruining the game is an unfair criticism. The game is simply changing. Is it his fault that he can easily drain shots from 30-35 feet?

If Green wanted a little bit more spice on his banter, he should have also mentioned the fact that Davidson, Curry's alma mater, was sent crashing out of the Big Dance with a loss to Kentucky Thursday.
