Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is questionable to play in Monday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after missing practice due to a heel issue.

Green has missed the last two games with the heel injury, and he has already missed seven games this season.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr indicated on Thursday that the injury was not serious, but Kerr was also optimistic that Green would play on Friday against the Jazz. With Green's status now in question for Monday as well, perhaps there is reason to question the severity of the ailment.

This season has already been immensely frustrating for the Green. He had every right to feel exuberant and confident after signing a four-year, $100 million extension earlier this summer. But after Stephen Curry suffered a broken hand and Green tore ligaments in his index finger, things went south in a hurry.

At 3-14, the Warriors have the worst record in the NBA. Green has still found ways to stuff the stat sheet, as he is averaging 8.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.8 assists. However, Green looks like a shell of his best self without Curry or Klay Thompson on the floor. He has also struggled to hold Golden State's defense together and averaged just 0.5 blocks through his first 10 games.

It would not be surprising to see the Warriors take extra precautions with respect to Green and the rest of their stars. They have an opportunity to grab a high draft pick next summer, which could be a massive asset with Curry and Thompson returning fully healthy.
