Eric Paschall had a huge game for the Golden State Warriors on Monday, and veteran teammate Draymond Green made sure to give a shoutout to the young gun for his outstanding performance.

Green, currently out with a finger injury, took to Instagram to congratulate Paschall for what was nothing less than an explosion in Golden State's surprise 127-118 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers:

Paschall was actually celebrating his 23rd birthday on Monday, and he definitely made sure it was going to be one of his most memorable birthdays ever. The 6-foot-6 rookie caught fire against the Blazers, finishing with a career-high 34 points (on 11-of-19 shooting), four 3-pointers, 13 rebounds, and a block in 40 minutes of play.

The Warriors are absolutely banged up at this point, with Green, Stephen Curry, D'Angelo Russell, and Kevon Looney all dealing with various injuries. Not to mention Klay Thompson, who is expected to be out for the better part of the 2019-20 season as he recovers from his torn ACL.

In the wake of all these injuries, guys like Paschall have had to step up their game for a shorthanded Warriors side. On Monday, other youngsters also showed up to play with the likes of Ky Bowman (19 points, eight assists), Jordan Poole (16 points, five assists), and Damion Lee (18 points, four rebounds) all playing tremendously to help the Warriors to only their second victory in seven games thus far.
