During the NBA Finals, Draymond Green's podcast was a major issue. Due to his poor play and the Golden State Warriors' early struggles, there were questions whether the show was a distraction for him and how he might be giving out information to the Boston Celtics about their game plans.

Both concerns have their merits. For the second one, Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report noted that ā€œseveral Boston coaches are tuning in to every episodeā€ in hopes of getting some information that will give them even a slight advantage.

Of course that proved to be a non-factor in the series. The Warriors eventually bagged their fourth title in eight years, finishing the Celtics in Game 6 as Green finally found his stride to help the Dubs.

Now speaking about the issue on how the Celtics coaches listened to his podcast to look for advantage, Green couldn't help but respond to them with an ā€œappreciationā€ post. After all, in the end, all they did was bring more eyes to his show.

Draymond Green certainly had the last laugh in this one, and deservingly so. While he didn't have the best series, he still played his role and helped the Warriors win the championship.

It doesn't look like Green will stop poking fun at the Celtics, though. Earlier, he also trolled the Beantown faithful with a Game 7 joke because Saturday, June 19, would have been the schedule of the contest had Boston been able to win Game 6.

Keep being you, Dray!
