Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was one of many players and people in attendance not fond of Fergie's version of the national anthem during the pre-game ceremony to tip-off the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

As seen in the video before, Fergie's approach to singing it was comical to his fellow teammates Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, as well as LeBron James, DeMar DeRozan, and even Chance The Rapper, who sat front row.

Green tried to slyly navigate his way out of addressing his real feelings for the way Fergie sang it, but his facial reaction betrayed him.

“I was just chillin' man,” Green said, trying to hold it together in front of reporters. “
.that's the national anthem.”

Many professional league sports choose to have a famous performer take part in the singing of the national anthem, and while sometimes it reaps the benefit, some others result in a decadent performance.

In an effort to bring her own twist to it, Fergie sung it in a sultry-like tone, in a way that made most players and spectators cringe while hearing it.

Surely this wasn't one of Fergie's greatest solo hits like “Glamorous” or “Big Girls Don't Cry,” but to cause laughter during a national anthem can prove a career-killer for the 42-year-old Los Angeles native.

Green wasn't alone with his instinct to laugh, but given his history of fines for post-game comments, he preferred to play it smooth and not say anything at all, keeping some money in his pocket to spend during his next three days off.
