Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green is more worried about Stephen Curry the person than Curry the player.

Curry is out with a broken left hand. Green knows the Warriors face an uphill climb now that Curry is out, but the three-time All-Star is also sad that Curry won't get to play with his kids and be a father and husband since his hand is broken:

Green and Curry have a very strong relationship, and it shows with this quote. Green and the Warriors are going to struggle mightily sans Curry, but the rugged defender is looking at the bigger picture here.

On the season, Curry is averaging 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game. The two-time MVP and three-time champion is shooting 40.9 percent from the field, 24.3 percent from beyond the arc and a perfect 100 percent from the free-throw line.

The Warriors were already going to have a hard time making the playoffs this season. Now that Curry is out, the Dubs’ odds of making the postseason are next to none.

Curry signed a five-year, $201 million deal with Golden State back in the summer of 2017. He’s making $40,231,758 this season.

Green, who signed an extension with the Warriors this offseason worth $100 million, will be asked to do even more on offense and defense now that Curry is on the sideline.
