The back-and-forth between Philadelphia 76ers budding star Joel Embiid and the reigning Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green is still ongoing despite both players having met for the only two times in the span of a week.

The Golden State Warriors forward responded to Embiid's troll after losing a second-consecutive outing after his Sixers blew a 24-point lead against the reigning champions on Saturday.

Embiid had taken to Twitter after the game, attempting to troll the two-time champion Green with the moniker that was the butt of all jokes Warriors-related in social media.

While it's been all fun and games for Embiid, Green took the summer promiseĀ The ProcessĀ had for him over the summer in its utmost seriousness, limiting the big man to only 12 points and a season-high seven turnovers in their first encounter this season. While Embiid got the best of Green on Saturday with 21 points, he lost both games.

ā€œHe's f***ing hilarious,ā€ said Green. ā€œMan, I love that dude.ā€

Something on Green's DNA has him gravitating to guys that can talk and back it up on the court. Embiid has done plenty of that this season, coming off of a loss against Golden State to tie a career-high in rebounds against the L.A. Clippers and do the same against the Los Angeles Lakers, while posting a career-high 46 points at Staples Center.
