Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green took quite a spill on Tuesday night after colliding mid-air with teammate Kyle Bowman and landing hard on his left elbow.

Green, who displayed visible discomfort after the hard fall, briefly subbed out of the game but managed to return and helped the Warriors snap an ugly seven-game slide with a 114-95 win over the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedEx Forum.

Speaking to reporters after the game, the three-time All-Star said the incident was not as bad as it initially seemed. However, he pointed out that he did sustain a right elbow bruise.

With D’Angelo Russell out for the next two weeks due to a thumb injury, Green assumed the role of primary facilitator against the Grizz.

The one-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year finished two points shy of a triple-double, notching eight points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists in 35 minutes of action.

The Warriors are still at the bottom of the NBA standings with a putrid 3-12 record. Injuries have been the primary cause of the team’s drastic decline, though the Dubs certainly averted a major bullet after Green came out healthy after that scary fall.

The 29-year-old Michigan product remains as the lone remnant from Golden State’s dynasty. With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson out, opposing defenses have zeroed in on Green, which attributed to his early season struggles.

Green has only reached double figures in scoring twice in the Dubs’ last six matches. He is shooting just 37.9 percent from the field and 26.7 from beyond the arc in 11 games.
