Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has been keeping a close eye some teams who have a chance to shock the basketball world and win the NBA title. From his observation, these sleeper teams are the Houston Rockets and the Miami Heat.

Draymond Green appeared on The Steam Room podcast where he laid his arguments on why the Rockets and the Heat are his dark horse picks. For the Rockets, the mere presence of Russell Westbrook and James Harden make them a significant force.

“They got Russ (Russell Westbrook), they got James (Harden) — who obviously can both go for 40 or 50 on any given night,” he said as transcribed by Drew Shiller of NBC Sports. “They got a bunch of shooters and they're going to create problems for people, because they're playing this switching defense.

Draymond Green also pointed out that the Rockets can be “sneaky,” noting how hefty PJ Tucker and Harden are despite their size.

For the Heat, Draymond Green pointed out how much talent the team has. He also gave a shoutout to former teammate Andre Iguodala, reminding everyone that the former Finals MVP is terrific in the postseason.

“They play really hard, they got guys that are tied together,” the three-time NBA champion explained. “They got my guy Andre (Iguodala), who we know during the Finals and playoffs is great. The only thing with the Heat is they struggle at times to find consistent scoring.

“But they got a lot of talent, a lot of pieces.”

Many experts have echoed Draymond Green's sentiments. The Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers, and the Milwaukee Bucks are the top favorites. But people should not forget about the Rockets and the Heat.
