The Los Angeles Lakers may have made the biggest splash of the summer by snaring LeBron James away from the Cleveland Cavaliers, but Golden State Warriors defensive ace Draymond Green isn't worried about that.

In a wide-ranging interview with Marc J. Spears over at The Undefeated, Green explained why LeBron and the Lakers are of no concern to the mighty Warriors.

On whether the Warriors are worried about the Lakers: “Teams worry about us. We don’t worry about nobody. We are the champs. Why do we have to worry about anybody? They have to worry about us. They say we are ruining the league. I love it!”

This is a very Draymond Green response, but it's also the correct one. Why should the Warriors be worried about the Lakers at this point? Golden State has won three of the last four championships, with all of them coming against LeBron. Even with James in tow, Los Angeles still has a long way to go to get to the Warriors' level, and a lot of growth will be needed from the Lakers' young core to make it a fair fight.

Even so, expect these matchups to bring plenty of intensity from the get-go. We already know there will be four regular-season contests between the two teams, with nationally televised games on Christmas and Martin Luther King Jr. Day already confirmed.

From there, perhaps we'll see the two squads square off at least four more times in the postseason. That would be a treat, and we could certainly expect Green to have a lot to say.
