Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green says the upcoming free agency of Kevin Durant doesn't matter right now since the team is trying to win its third-straight championship.

Durant can become an unrestricted free agent this summer once he declines his 2019-20 player option with the Warriors.

Because of the argument Green and Durant got into earlier in the season in Los Angeles, many on the outside believe Durant's free agency is a big talking point in Golden State.

Green, however, says that's not the case.

“He’s part of it right now,” Draymond Green said about Kevin Durant, via Sam Amick of The Athletic. “Whatever happens this summer happens. Whatever the hell he do, he does. If he go, he go. If he stay, he stay. But while he’s here, we’re going to win another championship. It’s just that simple. Nothing else matters.”

The Warriors have the best record in the Western Conference at 47-21. Barring something unforeseen happening in the playoffs, Golden State is well on its way to winning the title again.

If the Dubs do win it all, it would be their fourth ring in five years. The Warriors would become the first team since the Kobe Bryant-Shaquille O'Neal-led Los Angeles Lakers to three peat.
