Stephen Curry is missing and Draymond Green is talking. The latter is normal, but the former is an anomaly. In two games against the Houston Rockets in the Western Conference Finals, the Golden State Warriors' back-to-back MVP is only averaging a measly, by his standards, stat-line of 17.0 points per game on 44 percent field goal shooting and an even worse mark from beyond the arc at 15 percent.

It's hard to imagine the Warriors toppling the top-seeded Rockets with Curry performing this way. But he has nowhere else to look but within himself to break out of his shooting slump. That is what Green believes, at least.

Via ESPN's Chris Haynes:

“We can't help Steph get going. Steph got to help himself,” Green said. “You don't need any of us to create looks for him or anything like that. He's going to do that himself, and we know he will.”

The Warriors did what they are supposed to do in Texas — steal homecourt advantage from the Rockets. Now, heading back to the wild house known as Oracle Arena, the defending champions are in great shape to further dent the Rockets' ship.

Or are they?

Don't forget that the Rockets won their regular season series against the Warriors. They know how to win at the Bay Area and they're not intimated, especially when they have the MVP favorite in James Harden and the ultimate floor general in Chris Paul leading the way.

Game 3 is set to tip off Sunday at the Warriors' turf.
