Earlier in the year, Golden State Warriors fiery big man Draymond Green got into a heated dispute with superstar Kevin Durant, beginning with Durant chiding Green for a decision on the court and apparently ending with Green questioning Durant's manhood in the locker room.

The Warriors, who suspended Green for a game as a result, then went into a little funk after the conflict, leaving some to wonder if the relationship between Green and Durant was permanently fractured and if Golden State's dynasty would be over because of it.

But now over two months later, the Warriors have reeled off eight consecutive wins to reclaim the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and look invincible once again.

Green and Durant are perfectly fine, with Green even going as far to call his relationship with Durant “special” after they patched things up:

“It’s very rare,” Green said of what he and Durant have, according to Marcus Thompson of The Athletic. “Obviously, we had a good relationship and then to go through something like we went through and still come out of that with a great relationship, that’s special. Those are the relationships you have for life. My deepest relationships that I have is, like, with people that I went through shit with. It could’ve been a bad argument. It could’ve been ready to go to blows. Those are my best relationships because you go through something and then you come out on the other side and y’all are tighter and better for it. Those are the special relationships.”

No one other than the Warriors themselves know how bad Draymond Green and Kevin Durant's relationship was earlier in the season, but now, it appears the two have remedied whatever problems they had.

After their blowout win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night, Golden State now owns a record of 33-14 on the year.
