For star forward Draymond Green, it is premature to think that championship run of the Golden State Warriors is over.

Per Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press, Green says that he's aware of the whispers revolving around the Warriors' future. For the critics, their recent loss to the Toronto Raptors signifies the end of their five-year dominance. But Green remains unfazed.

“I think everybody thinks it's kind of the end of us. But that's just not smart. We're not done yet. … But, yeah, I hear a lot of that noise, ‘It's the end of a run' and all that jazz. I don't see it happening though. We'll be back.”

Starting from the 2014-2015 season, the Warriors have reached the NBA Finals five straight times. They've won three titles including a back-to-back run from 2016 to 2018.

They entered the 2019 playoffs as the favorites to win it again and complete the three-peat. However, tragedy struck in the Western Conference Finals as Kevin Durant — one of the most potent scorers in the league — went down with an injury. Fast forward to the NBA Finals, another injury — that of Klay Thompson's — further hampered their chances against the Raptors.

The end, as most know it, was the failure of the Warriors to complete the three-peat. Durant, as well as Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala,  ended their tenure with the Warriors. For various analysts, the departure of several key players signifies the end of the Warriors' dominance.

But Green, like most Warriors fans, believe that it's not yet over for them. After all, while they won't have Thompson's services for the majority of the season, they still have two-time MVP Stephen Curry, as well as rising guard D'Angelo Russell in their squad.
