The second-round series between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies has not been short of controversial moments — and we're only two games into this seven-game war.

Dubs star Draymond Green has now come out with a bold warning for Ja Morant and the Grizzlies ahead of their Game 3 tussle on Saturday:

“You want every bit of emotion you can have in a playoff series. Somebody wants smoke, you got to want smoke or you lose,” Green said Friday, via Evan Barnes of Memphis Commercial Appeal. “This ain't about putting no emotions aside or not letting your emotions get the best of you. If your emotions get the best of you, they should.

“It's the playoffs, you're playing for all the marbles. Your emotions should get the best of you and you adjust from there.”

Green is the type that plays with his heart on his sleeve and he clearly has no intention of setting his emotions aside when the Warriors face off against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Interestingly enough, Morant had a memorable quote about not “ducking smoke” earlier in the season:

“There ain't no running in the M, man,” Morant said. “We climb up the chimney. We ain't ducking no smoke. We're gonna let everybody know we're here. We're gonna play hard, we're trying to get a win and if you don't like it? Oh well.”

It sounds to me as though the Warriors star has taken a bit of a veiled shot directly towards Morant here. This series is about to blow up.
