San Francisco, Ca – This season, the Golden State Warriors briefly got their big three back together for the first time since the 2019 season. It didn't last long because of injuries that Draymond Green and Stephen Curry suffered. But when the trio all played together, it wasn't for long because Klay Thompson was on minute restrictions.

During that time, Thompson struggled mightily. His shot was off, and he couldn't defend the quicker guards like he once did. Every night you could tell the sharpshooter was forcing it. When his minute's restrictions were lifted, No. 11 got going. He finished the season averaging 20 points per game, but still, in the playoffs, people are saying he's still working his way back.

Green doesn't buy it, and he spoke out on it after Thursday's practice.

“I hope he doesn't believe that narrative because it kind of sounds like he does,” Green told ClutchPoints. “To say I'm still working to get back, no the hell he not. He's back.”

In Game 1 of their series against the Dallas Mavericks, Thompson went scoreless in the first half. But he competed on the defensive side of the ball. He recorded 2 rejections while doing his part to slow down Luka Doncic. In the second half of the game, the Splash Brother got going and finished the night with 15 points.

Sometimes 15 points are all the Warriors need from the former All-Star guard. But there will come a time when they need him to score 30 or more points. When that time comes, Thompson will be ready, and Green will be the first person to tell everyone I told you so.
