Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green says the Dubs' environment is going to be great for small forward Andrew Wiggins.

Wiggins has actually said a few times the vibe around the Warriors is exactly what he needed in this next step of his basketball career.

Wiggins, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft out of Kansas, believes his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves was up and that the Warriors are the perfect organization for him moving forward.

Wiggins is putting up 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 10 games with the Warriors. In a season to forget for the Dubs, the least head coach Steve Kerr and his group can hope for is for chemistry to be built between Stephen Curry, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green.

After going to the NBA Finals five straight seasons and winning three titles, the Warriors have been humbled this season. They have the worst record in the NBA and will miss the postseason for the first time in the Kerr era.

However, the Warriors figure to be playoff contenders again next season once Curry, Wiggins, Green and All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson take the floor together.

Green is still out with his knee injury, so he's taking on a mentor role with Wiggins and the other youngsters on the Warriors.

After losing to the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, the Dubs are now 14-49 on the season.
