Draymond Green's episodes of starting beef with opponents and/or fans are now taking a backseat to podcast episodes. As the Golden State Warriors take on the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals, Green's podcasting is becoming a central storyline along with his struggles on the court.

Green has been playing awfully during the finals, averaging a mere 5.0 points per game on 26.3 percent shooting with 15 fouls across three games. Although he stated on his podcast that he did play terribly in the Warriors' Game 3 defeat, it doesn't do anything to get the team back on track.

Warriors fans hoping that their All-Star forward puts down the mic will be disappointed. Green told Sam Amick of The Athletic that he sees his podcast, the Draymond Green Show on The Volume, as a business and something he takes as seriously as he does basketball.

It’s all business, you know? The way I view my podcast is that I’m operating a business. Like, you can’t get tired of operating your own business, or it fails. So, it’s something that I take as serious as I do basketball. And so, if I’m going to show up for the game, I show up for (the podcast), or it doesn’t work.

Although Celtics coaches are using his podcast to scout the Warriors, Green sounds determined to keep his business running during the NBA Finals. He touted that his podcast's popularity to silence his critics. His commitment to podcasting through the sturggles is certainly being enjoyed in Boston. His listenership in the Bay Area may suffer, though.
