Draymond Green isn't exactly the most beloved man in Boston right now. The Golden State Warriors forward was reminded of that fact in Game 3 of the NBA Finals as Celtics fans rained down the jeers against him.

From the Warriors‘ starting lineups, it was clear that the crowd was coming after Draymond Green the entire game:

As the game went on, the random boos turned into arena-wide chants of “Draymond sucks” and even “F–k you, Draymond,” which was discernible on the broadcast as he was fouling out in the fourth quarter with the Warriors down big:

Draymond Green's wife Hazel Renee didn't take the chanting sitting down. She was in attendance supporting the Warriors for Game 3 alongside their children and was utterly disgusted by the behavior of the fans around her. She was vocal on social media after the Celtics win:

“Tough loss tonight BUT in NO WAY, shape or form should fans be allowed to chant obscenities at players! Are they not human? Is someone standing at your job saying off the wall things to you? The NBA has the audacity to have a whole code of conduct card at every seat about fans and their behavior and how they could be ejected from a game or banned but a whole crowd/section/numerous people get to chant F**k YOU DRAYMOND or cill him B**** or MF?! And nothing?? Like that's okay? Warriors fans would NEVER!! My kids were at the game tonight hearing that mess! Very DISGUSTING of you little Celtics fans. Just shameful!” said Draymond Green's wife Hazel Renee.

The animosity towards Draymond Green was a huge talking point during and after Game 3. It'll be interesting to see if anything changes for Game 4 in terms of the Celtics policing their own fans or if the Boston crowd will remain just as hostile against their most hated Warriors player.
