Draymond Green was subjected to a host of boos and chants, of varying degrees, during Game 3 of the NBA Finals. The Golden State Warriors made their stance known that they were not happy with the cursing and vitriol hurled at their defensive talisman.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver did not exactly share in the same distaste for the Celtics fans' actions on Wednesday night. Asked about how the game played out when it came to the synchronized trash talking, Silver claimed he “loves the energy.”

Via Peter Eliopoulos:

“I want fans to enjoy themselves,” said Adam Silver on the ‘F–k you, Draymond' chants during the NBA Finals in Boston. “Of course as the league office you want to see it done with respect for all the participants, but I get it. I love the energy that Boston fans bring to the game.”

Aside from obviously preferring that the chants be toned down and more kid-friendly, it looks like Adam Silver is all for the animosity as part of the game. Interestingly enough, Draymond Green was just singing Adam Silver's praises a week ago. The Warriors star posted a message of admiration on Twitter after his pre-Finals press conference on various NBA issues:

“To call Adam Silver the best commissioner in all of sports at this point is kind of disrespectful. He’s one of the best CEOs of a major corporation in the WORLD… just finished watching his PC. Very very very impressive,” said the Warriors star.

Safe to say he won't agree with at least this latest take from Adam Silver, though.
