Having already missed two of their last three games, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green may once again be forced to sit out their game on Thursday versus the Dallas Mavericks due to lingering effects of his shoulder injury. The development was confirmed by head coach Steve Kerr, via Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

At this point of the season, it is very understandable that the Dubs are taking a cautious approach on the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, as they know that there's still a long way to go in the season. They can also afford to play without him, as the team is on a roll, and is currently on a seven-game winning streak.

The Warriors will once again rely heavily on Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to carry the majority of the offensive load on Thursday, but the good news is their teammates have been stepping up their games and helping their cause. More updates are expected to be reported about Green's situation in the coming days, but his injury doesn't sound too serious that he will miss a significant amount of time.
