Draymond Green's mom let everyone knew that she wants Jamal Crawford to join the Golden State Warriors.

Via her Twitter account, Green admitted that though the Warriors want to go young, Crawford — a three-time Sixth Man of the Year awardee — would be a great addition to the bench.

Just this week, Crawford declined his $4.5M player option for 2018-19 season to become a free agent. Last season, he averaged 10.3 points in 20.7 minutes. Prior to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Crawford spent five seasons with the L.A. Clippers where he won two of his three Sixth Man of the Year trophies.

As reported by Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Crawford opened up about his decision. For him, the main priority now is to look for a team which he can fit in:

“My No. 1 priority is fit. I think that’s very, very important. I’ve seen so many different situations in the NBA and fit is so important.”

Despite spending only one season with the Wolves, Crawford has no regrets. He believes that the Wolves have a bright future ahead of them, especially since they have a good young core:

“The way I look at everything is my career is a book and this was the chapter of the book,” Crawford said. “I have no regrets about it. I’m glad I was able to experience what I was able to experience. Now it’s time to move forward.

“It’s a good foundation, a good springboard, there are some really good players, a couple of All-Star players.”
