The Golden State Warriors' 2022 championship run was a reminder of sorts. Many pundits expected a long road- or no road at all- back to the NBA Finals for the Dubs. However, this year's title was the Warriors saying, in a way, we're still here. And boy have the Warriors had plenty to say after their victory.

From Klay Thompson eviscerating Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. for an old tweet, to Draymond Green trolling the Boston Celtics with their own giveaway shirt to Stephen Curry reminding pundits of their false predictions.

The Dubs have clearly enjoyed being back in the NBA winner's circle. According to co-owner Peter Guber, it's a place the franchise plans on staying. Guber guaranteed another title at the Warriors' parade on Monday.

Guber, undoubtedly riding the high of the euphoric Warriors' parade, said that the Dubs are “going to have a sequel.” While there certainly could be some adult beverages doing the talking for Guber, there is reason to believe that there could be a championship sequel for Golden State in 2023.

Andrew Wiggins, a free agent in 2023, has expressed a desire to remain with the team. 2022 free agents Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney and Otto Porter Jr, key pieces of the Dubs' depth, have all expressed their desires to return.

Then, there's the prospect of the Warriors getting a healthy James Wiseman back in 2023, as well as whoever they decide to select in the upcoming NBA Draft.

Guber has a point. A championship sequel could very well be in the cards for the Warriors.
