The Golden State Warriors await to see who they will face in the NBA Finals. Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat takes place on Sunday. So, while Golden State prepares for the championship series, the organization hopes for some of its key players to return. The franchise provides an update for Andre Iguodala, Gary Payton II, and Otto Porter Jr.

According to Kendra Andrews, the three veteran players are progressing through their injuries as expected. Iguodala, Payton, and Porter will all participate in practice, which is an excellent sign for the Warriors. It's unclear whether or not any of these players will actually be available for the NBA Finals. However, this is a nice step in the right direction.

With the Celtics-Heat series going to seven games, the Warriors have been gifted extra time to rest and prepare for the championship. Golden State is in a preferable situation after eliminating the Dallas Mavericks in five games. Boston or Miami will have limited rest for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. It'll be interesting to see if Andre Iguodala, Gary Payton II, and Otto Porter Jr. can bounce back from their injuries.

The Warriors will need all hands on deck if they hope to secure another title. So far, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins have stepped up in a huge way throughout the postseason. If Golden State can get some of their key rotational players back on the court, this team will be incredibly difficult to stop.

All eyes will be on the Warriors in the coming days, as more information regarding Iguodala, Payton, and Porter will be released soon.
