Golden State Warriors forward Eric Paschall was named to the NBA's All-Rookie First Team on Tuesday, becoming the first Dubs player to accomplish that feat since 2013.

Paschall, who was the No. 41 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, had a few words to say after being named to the All-Rookie First Team.

Eric Paschall played phenomenal for the Warriors this season, averaging 14.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while shooting 49.7 percent from the field. In the 26 games he started in 2019-20, the 23-year-old averaged 17.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game.

“He had a great rookie season, did lot of really good things,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said in a phone interview, via Monte Poole of NBC Sports. “And I think a player’s biggest improvement usually comes between year one and two, because now he has a feel for what he can and cannot do, and what needs to happen to take the next step.

Most impressively, though, Paschall proved to be one of the best forwards taken in the NBA 2019 Draft. Paschall finished off the season as the only rookie to rank among the top-5 in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage. Furthermore, he was one of only three rookies to post multiple 30-point games this season.

Paschall joins New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, Miami Heat guard Kendrick Nunn and Memphis Grizzlies youngsters Ja Morant and Brandon Clarke as the other players that were also selected to the NBA's All-Rookie First Team.

The future is certainly bright for the Warriors and Paschall.
