It looks like much of the basketball world is rooting for the impersonator of Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson.

To recall, Dawson Gurley, more popularly known now as “Fake Klay,” went viral recently after Chase Center banned him for life due to his latest stunt. He entered Chase Center through the players' entrance posing as Klay, although he never said he's the Warriors sharpshooter, and even managed to go to the court and take some shots before Game 5 of the NBA Finals–all without even showing proper credentials!

After his ban, he has received tons of love and support from fans and his followers. In fact, even Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley invited him to go to Target Center and attend their game when they play the Warriors next season.

This time Nets owner Joe Tsai hilariously joked that if the Warriors don't want him at Chase Center, he can come and play in Brooklyn. Upon seeing the tweet, Gurley couldn't help but respond and amusingly said he needs the contract first.

Hey, if Kevin Durant misses playing alongside Klay Thompson, maybe Fake Klay with the Nets will do!

It remains to be seen if Joe Tsai will actually bring Dawson Gurley to Brooklyn, even just like Beverley's proposal wherein he would attend a game when the Warriors play there. After all, that will definitely be a fun sight to see!
